The Australian Ford Forum’s Annual Heathcote Drags 2018 @ Heathecote Park Raceway
Jun 8 – Jun 9 all-day

Hi All,

Every year there is a group of us that go from Canberra to Heathcote for the AFF Drag Nationals. In the past we have teamed up with some of the boys and girls from Tumut under the banner of Team Brindabella. Also, in the past we have met our Sydney friends at Yass and travelled together. If there is interest from club members to attend I will try to organise this.

For the Canberra guys and girls, our usual meet point for Barton Hwy cruises is Gold Creek Maccas Car Park. Travel time from Canberra to Heathcote is a good 6 to 7 hours depending on stops. The gates usually open at 4pm at Heathcote, so to maximise daylight time to set up camp, we should be there at 4.

To cater for meet ups and the associated delays, the Canberra crew will need to be at the meet point at 07:00 for a departure at 07:30.

Our UHF channel will be Channel 10.

For those seeking accommodation Saturday, out team usually books a motel in Bendigo and meet for dinner. I do believe you can camp on track on the Saturday night as well.

Please add your name to the list on the forum, email the event’s coordinator with the email on the committee page, and reply to the original AFF thread using the link below if you wish to come. Please go to the forum and the original thread for full details for the event.
